In late 2021 climate justice activists celebrated a successful pause to Shell’s oil and gas exploration in South Africa. Amadiba Crisis Committee, South Durban Community Environmental Alliance and Abahlali baseMjondolo, a few of our partners in the region, were all active in the struggle.
